Yes, but only under specific circumstances. I work with individuals or groups who are dealing with issues such as three siblings navigating a narcissistic father, a couple impacted by a narcissistic mother-in-law, or a women’s ministry team harmed by a narcissistic pastor. However, individual work can sometimes be more productive, especially when personal, in-depth healing is needed.
If you suspect your partner or spouse is abusive, I don’t meet with couples together under this circumstance.
Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. I adhere to the Ethical Principles for Professional Coaches set forth by the International Association of Coaching (IAC), and I take confidentiality very seriously. Each session is held in strict confidence, and I will never release identifying information or reveal that you are a client unless I am legally required to do so or unless you provide written consent to release information to a third party.
I understand the importance of privacy, especially for clients who may be in the public eye or have sensitive circumstances. Due to my position in the community through social media, my job, family, and various associations, I am fully aware that someone’s job or life could be at risk if our work together were exposed. For this reason, I never disclose the identities of my clients. I will never reveal who I work with, and I never confirm or deny talking to anyone, even if you are concerned that someone may believe I am speaking with a friend or family member. My commitment is to your privacy and security. Your trust is paramount, and I will protect your confidentiality at all costs.
